Informative Seminars in 5 cities of Albania

In the framework of the project “Improving the living conditions of people with hearing disabilities in Albania” which is financed by AICS Tirana and implemented by Save the Children in Albania in partnership with the Independent Forum for the Albanian Woman and the Agency for the Quality Assurance of Pre-University Education were organised 5 informative seminars in 5 cities of Albania (Tirana, Fier, Elbasan, Durres, Korce. 

The seminars topics focused on the new Disability Assessment Reform, which is based on a bio-psycho-social approach, when parents have to assess their children’s abilities, the documentation they have to complete, the rights of children with disabilities, with a focus on rights to education, were some of the main issues of the informative meeting organized with the parents of children with hearing difficulties at the Institute of Deaf Students.
